Terms of Service

Last updated: September 8, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of TrackMyWallet (the "Service"), operated by Daniel Otto, Lohbrügger Landstr. 161, 21031 Hamburg, Germany ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

TrackMyWallet is a read-only portfolio tracking tool. You provide public wallet addresses or extended public keys (xpub/ypub/zpub); we look up publicly available blockchain data to show you balances, transaction history, and estimated portfolio value.

The Service never requests, stores, or has access to your private keys or seed phrases, and cannot move, spend, or otherwise control your funds.

2. Not Financial Advice

TrackMyWallet is an informational tool only. Nothing in the Service constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Cryptocurrency prices are volatile, and past performance is not indicative of future results. You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions.

3. Account Registration

You must provide a valid email address and a secure password to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

4. Free and Premium Plans

We offer a free tier and may offer a paid "Premium" tier with additional features (such as email notifications). Pricing and feature details for paid tiers, once available, will be listed within the Service. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.

5. Data Accuracy

Balances, prices, and transaction data are sourced from third-party blockchain explorers and price feeds (see our Privacy Policy). While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that data shown in the Service is complete, current, or error-free, and we are not liable for decisions made based on this data.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service (e.g. excessive automated requests).
  • Reverse engineer or resell the Service without our written permission.

7. Content You Post (Community Forum)

The Service includes a forum where you can publish posts. You remain responsible for the content you post. You warrant that your posts do not infringe third-party rights (in particular copyright, trademark, or personality rights) and are not unlawful, defamatory, misleading, promotional (spam), or aimed at manipulating prices. Other users' statements are not advice from us.

You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual right to store, display, and technically process your posts as part of the Service. This right ends when you or we remove the post; backups made beforehand and other users' quotations are unaffected.

We are not obliged to review user content in advance. For third-party content we are responsible, under §§ 7–10 DDG, only once we become aware of a specific infringement. Report unlawful content to info@trackmywallet.app; we will then remove or block it without undue delay. We may remove posts that violate these Terms and restrict accounts accordingly.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a security risk to the Service.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Daniel Otto shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or cryptocurrency value, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. This limitation does not affect liability for intent, gross negligence, or injury to life, body, or health, which cannot be excluded under German law.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may change these Terms where there is a valid reason to do so (e.g. new or changed features, a change in the law, or security requirements). We will notify you of material changes at least 30 days before they take effect, by email to the address on your account, and will point out your right to object and the consequences. If you do not object before the changes take effect, the revised Terms are deemed accepted. If you object, the contract ends when the change takes effect; until then you may continue to use the Service under the previous Terms. Purely editorial changes that do not affect your rights and obligations may be made without notice.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. If you are a consumer and habitually reside in another EU member state, you also retain the protection of any mandatory provisions of the law of that country.
